FAQ
Here you will find the answers to frequently asked questions.
Swiss casinos are legally obliged to maintain an effective social concept. In the early detection stage, we use threshold values and specific criteria to individually inform potentially problematic players of the statutory grounds for suspension. The effectiveness and implementation of the social concept is regularly reviewed by the Swiss Federal Gaming Board.
Any clarifications in this regard serve to determine the plausibility of the statutory gambling suspension as set out in Art. 80 (1) of the Federal Act on Gambling (BGS). This includes a contact meeting in which we review the player’s gambling behavior for plausibility and conduct a credit check.
You can choose to have a voluntary suspension imposed at your preferred casino at any time. You can use the application form or contact the social concept officers at our casinos directly.
The gambling suspension – regardless of whether it is voluntary or ordered – is valid indefinitely throughout Switzerland and covers physical and online casinos and online lotteries (Swisslos and La Loterie Romande).
We advise you to contact the responsible person in your preferred casino and explain your situation. They will then take care of the case individually.
